Our History

The Longevity Athletics program, founded by Aaron Gilbert in 2013, was originally offered in his 360 sq. ft. residential garage in Maricopa, Arizona due to increased demand for his Continuation Exercise Program offered to discharged patients at Petersen Physical Therapy.

For Aaron, his fascination with health, fitness, and athletics started at the age of 16. Affected by childhood obesity, depression, and social anxiety disorder; Aaron sought out a solution. Driven by his unshakable determination for relief, his solution took shape and consisted of calisthenics, weight-lifting, a wide variety of sports, improved eating habits, and a whole lot of trial and error.

By the age of 18, Aaron completely transformed his health, physique, mind-set, and attitude. This transformative experience inspired him to devise a system that could help others in the same way his experiences helped him.

15 years later, Aaron’s life work; Longevity Athletics, or, “Long-Life-Activities’, was born, and what resulted? – a fusion of Corrective Therapeutic Exercise, Metabolic Circuit Training, Strength, Power, Muscle Building, and Endurance Training for all ages and experience levels.
